Why DG?
Consistent with our Founders’ goals in 1873, we want to create a membership experience that brings along lifetime memories and forever sisterhood.
Our members are not only encouraged to succeed within the chapter, but academically and on campus as well.
Every woman in this chapter has her own unique personality, but we all share a common bond of sisterhood in Delta Gamma.
DG is more than just a college experience. It will give you memories and sisters that you will have for a lifetime!
Recommendations
Delta Gamma is a members of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), an umbrella organization for 26 inter/national women’s fraternities and sororities. Each member group is autonomous as a social, Greek-letter society. Each college campus has its own collegiate Panhellenic organization. As a member of NPC, Delta Gamma recruits members under NPC guidelines and those of the local Panhellenic organization.
Sponsorship forms can be found in a current Anchora or on DeltaGamma.org. Along with a sponsorship form, it would be beneficial to have a picture and resume attached of the potential new member. The University of Alabama has the largest sorority recruitment in the nation. We greatly appreciate sponsor forms being sent in as early as possible due to the enormous amount of papers we must process, and so we can give each potential new member the attention she deserves. Sponsorship forms can either be sent in via email or mail.
